Consider submitting a photograph for Trese to paint as a commission piece. The steps necessary to participate in this process are outlined below.

1. Choose Your Photo
Tips for Selecting the Best Image for Commission Pieces:
- Choose a high-res photo with optimal lighting and clear details.
- Make sure faces or important features are not blurry or in shadow.
- Avoid overly cropped images — the more context, the better for artistic interpretation.
2. Consider Your Vision for Commission Piece
Here Are Some Possible Customizations You Might Consider:
- Accuracy: How closely the painting should resemble the photo.
- Background Style: Would you like to keep it the same as the photo or choose your own?
- Canvas Size: e.g. 11″ x 14″
- Canvas Type: Stretched or flat.
- Color Adjustments: Optional edits (e.g., “softer tones,” “vintage look,” etc.)
Take notes on a pad of paper or in your smartphone’s note-taking app so that they are readily available at the time of your photo submission.
3. Submit Your Photo
How to Send a Photo for Commission:
Compose an email to the provided email address and attach your selected photo. Be sure to include any customizations you wish to make. Don’t forget to add your name and the best way to contact you!

4. Review & Approve Quote
Once We Receive & Approve Your Request:
- We’ll send you a personalized quote including price, estimated completion time, and shipping cost.
- You’ll also receive a brief outline from Trese to ensure your visions for the piece are in alignment.
- A 50% deposit (or full payment, if preferred) will be required to begin.
5. Watch the Magic Happen
Commission Piece Begins & Progress Updates:
- We’ll notify you once your painting begins.
- We can send you a photo of the work in progress (optional).
6. Final Approval & Delivery
Before Shipping:
- You’ll receive a photo of the finished painting for final approval.
- Once approved and the remaining balance is paid, we carefully package and ship your painting!
