Submit Options

If you are considering submitting a photograph, please carefully read the options we provide below. A submission that is not structured in one of the specific formats we outline below will automatically be rejected.

Submit A Personal Photograph

To ensure that we comply with copyright laws, the easiest option is to send us a personal photograph that you own the rights to. Kindly refrain from submitting a photo that belongs to someone else! If you have your heart set on one, refer to option 3. After your photo has been reviewed and approved, we request your signature in claiming ownership of the submitted photograph. That being said, we know most people don’t have the luxury of traveling and taking amazing photographs, which is why we provide further options.

Submit A Stock Photograph

If you do not have a photo you have the rights to, we suggest selecting a stock photo to submit. Stock photos are pre-existing images that are available for purchase or license. These images are created by professional photographers or graphic designers and are intended for commercial purposes. Please note that stock photos typically have usage restrictions and/or fees associated with them, so be sure to review the licensing agreement before submitting one. We have provided you with some websites for stock photography below.

Obtain Consent From Proprietor

If you have your heart set on a photo that belongs to someone else, you can always request their permission to have it recreated by an artist. Trese will use the photo as a reference to create the final product. If you opt for this choice, kindly provide us with the owner’s information and their written consent to use their photo for copying and selling the final product. For more information on this, check out our blog post, Copyright Law and the Process of Obtaining Permission to Use Photos for Reproduction, where we go into much greater detail on the subject.
